General Conditions

All contracts for the reservation of accommodation with the inhabitant are governed by the general conditions indicated hereafter, as well as the specific conditions set out on a case by case basis.

Bed In The City (BiTC) is a centre for booking accommodation in the inhabitant's home. Its commitments are confined to informing the person seeking such accommodation about the landlord, the nature of the accommodation, and the price, according to a star-rated classification system.

All requests for reservation received by telephone must be confirmed in writing. In the absence of written confirmation, BTC shall in no way be held liable for any errors or misunderstandings relating to such non-confirmed reservation.

Cancellation policy: if the reservation is cancelled more than 15 days prior notice, 30 % of the full amount of the reservation shall be payable, from 15 to 7 days prior notice, 50 % of the full amount of the reservation shall be payable, less than 7 days prior notice, the full amount shall be payable.

The deposit paid upon reservation shall, under no circumstances, be refunded.

Under no circumstances shall the number of people exceed the number indicated on the reservation contract.

No guest shall be entitled to give his/her domicile the address of the host family.

The breakfast is included in the price of the room. If the guest does not wish to take the breakfast, an amount of 2 Eur per day and person will be given back.

All disputes or challenges which cannot be resolved amicably, will be brought before the jurisdiction of the Brussels courts in the French language.
